New York Shopping List Ideas Request!

source

So a few days ago I booked a flight to go visit a friend who is working in New York for a bit, and I leave on Saturday.  I'll be staying in near Times Square and needless to say I am BEYOND excited as it will be my first time visiting! Squeeee!!!

Rather than rock up and go on a crazy beauty shopping spree buying loads of random stuff I probably won't use, I thought it would be a good idea to put a little list together, so I've been trawling through Sephora's  website and watching lots of American YouTubers!  I love Ulta, but there doesn't look to be a store within a decent distance, so that's a little disappointing.  I'm hoping to make a pilgrimage to Woodbury Common, a massive discount outlet place, a bit like Bicester Village, but so much better.  I'm on the lookout for some Ugg boots and possibly a swanky handbag, but I am a little scared of panic buying so my friend will have to hold me back!

So here's my list so far.  I definitely won't be picking up everything on the list, and I probably wouldn't find all of it anyway, but I'd really appreciate if you guys have any more suggestions for me.  I'm really looking out for products you can't get in the UK, or which are massively cheaper in the US.

There's also a few MAC bits I want to pick up, but I am working out whether it's cheaper to pick them up in duty free at T5 or get them Stateside.

Bloomingdales better get ready! Please let me have your suggestions below! Or is there anything my list which you wouldn't recommend? Thankyouplease! x

  1. So jealous! But if you're going to USA I would rather buy things you can't really get over here. I'd probably still visit MAC though.. ;)
I don't know about you, but I really want to try Tarte clay amazonian blushes! Covergirl mascara I've heard good things about, and I've tried the WnW eyeshadows and they're really pigmented! Also, a colleague of mine sprayed one of the Victoria Secrets body sprays not long ago, and I'm still craving a bottle of my own! They have loads of nice fragranced stuff, so get some of those aswell!
I feel like I'm living my make up wish list through you haha
Have fun! I look forward to seeing your haul :) x

    1. I second the recommendation of the Wet N Wild eyeshadows. The Sephora Double Ended Every Day Eye Shader/Smudger brush is also lovely and functional. You should also check out the Inglot store in Times Square, it's awesome. Benefit Hoola is an amazing matte bronzer. The Sephora Mineral Foundation brush is also lovely. Have a great trip!

  7. I'm so excited for the Revlon lip butters to launch in the next few weeks, hope they don't sell out straight away!
I personally don't think you need to get the beautyblender, the price is ridiculous. The Cosmopolitan one is only £5 and I've seen lots of reviews that say it is better.
