What's in my Travel Toiletry Bag?!

I always take hella stuff with me on hols.  I find that what you need toiletry wise for one day is practically the same for what you need for a week, only the volume of each product differs.  I have a complete mania for collecting and saving mini bottles and jars.  I have a whole bowling bag full of them at the back of my wardrobe, but they always come in handy.

I always bring my own shampoo, conditioner and shower gel as even though you can get some premium brands in hotels and on cruise ships like Elemis and Molton Brown, it's always the unisex/masculine smelling stuff!

My must-haves are P20 (for the sun - it's the only one which really works), No7 Quick Thinking wipes (reviewed here), No7 eye make up remover - I decanted mine into a smaller Clinique bottle (reviewed here), Batiste dry shampoo, St. Moriz fake tan and L'Oreal Elvive Renutrition Nourishing Milk - an extremely light hair product to use before blowdrying.

My birthday takes place while I'm away, and as it's a sea day I've book an Elemis massage and facial, but hopefully I'll get some other chill time with to use up these masks and nose strips.

My beloved Cath Kidston toiletry bag - it is pretty huge but as you can see I have it bursting.  I think this is her all time prettiest pattern.

What are you travel toiletry must-haves?

What in my Travel Make Up Bag?!

Although I've been away a bit since my last one of these, I never had the time to do a post, so it's been a while and I have acquired a lot of new travel-friendly make up bits since.

You'll notice they're grouped into function below.  To me it seems a lot, almost double what I normally take away, but I'm going on a cruise, so I always like to tranny the make up on when at sea - you can get glam and no one raises an eyebrow.  So I'll be rocking statement brows, eyes, lips and cheeks - all on my face, at the same time.  Oh yes :)

First thing I always pack is my Sleek Storm palette

The tube is Collection 2000 Lasting Finish but the writing rubbed off within a week!

...it's not the exact one - mine is the slightly larger version but I didn't have a chance to snap it, but it's this print so you get the idea.  I got it in the Cath Kidston sale for 50% off.  I'm obsessed with CK stuff ten years later than everyone else as ever!

Check out tomorrow's post to see what toiletries I've packed.

What's In my Travel Make-Up Bag II?

Considering that I went to Greece for two weeks in September I was very restrained in my make up packing, but then again it was very beachy and we travelled round quite a bit so I needed to travel as light as possible. But as I'm going to Miami (will be on a plane when this posts) and onto a cruise ship, my make up routine will be a lot more involved, as I like to do dramatic eyes for night.

A lot of the old favourites are coming with, but this time I'm bringing two Sleek eye shadow palettes; Storm for day and Bad Girl for night instead of the UD Naked Palette. I've got three different types of foundation too, and will probably finish the No7 Stay Perfect sample and Bourjois Healthy Mix while I'm there. My Prescriptives mineral foundation, Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil, Maybelline Lash Stiletto mascara and Amber Rose lipstick are on their last legs too, so it's turning out to be a bit of a Project 10 Pan!

I love having a nose at what other people take on hols, so here's the contents of my make up bag:

All squished into here:

And I had to sneek some eyeliners and pencils into my brush roll as they just wouldn't fit into the bag and I refuse to take a larger one!

No doubt I will buy about this much make up while I'm there if I find a Sephora and CVS!

I hope I haven't forgotten anything!

What's In my Travel Make-Up Bag?!

By the time this post uploads I'll already be in Greece working my way through the UD Naked Palette, but I just thought I'd show you what I brought with me.  Going away really makes me realise what make up I can't live without!

The Kit
I managed to squeeze it into this little bag!
I also brought this of course! And a few sneaky eyeliners - I don't want the lovely velvet getting damaged so it's in it's original box! How sad!
The brushes - don't worry, I gave them a good wash before packing!
The brush roll is from Coastal Scents and it came with the red brushes
