Sleek MakeUP Caribbean + Mediterranean Collection Blush + Pout Polish Swatches

When I got back from Monaco last week a lovely little package was waiting for me and contained a Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish called Monte Carlo! It also contained this amazingly bright blush and pout polish from the upcoming limited edition Caribbean Collection which will be available in Superdrug and online at www.sleekmakeup.com from 6th July.

I don't actually own any orange products so these are definitely a welcome addition to my collection. Despite how 'on trend' (hate that phrase!) orange is this season, I'm not entirely convinced that with my red hair and freckles that tangerine is my colour, but I'm sure it would look much better on a deeper skintone.

The Pout Polish in Bonaire (£4.29) is actually quite sheer, so I can get away with it, but the Aruba blush (£4.29) is extremely pigmented.  If you're a make up artist you'll want this in your collection for editorial work.

The Pout Polish has the signature Sleek scent and flavour - think of a Pina Colada on a gorgeous Caribbean beach.  I'm loving the SPF 15 to protect my lips from developing unsightly freckles!

My favourite piece is definitely this pink Monte Carlo Pout Polish from the Mediterranean Collection which is limited edition but in shops now.  It reminds me a lot of a previous limited edition PP called Raspberry Souffle which I also own.

It shows up better on my lips than Bonaire and really compliments my skintone.  The blush in the Med Collection is called Santorini - my favourite Greek island - and is a gorgeous bright shocking pink.

While I personally might not get much use out of brights, I think it's fabulous that such an affordable brand is making these aspirational and exciting colours available.  The quality of these products can't be faulted and I particular love the sturdy blush pan with a huge mirror in the lid.

The other pieces in the Caribbean and Mediterranean Collections are i-Divine eyeshadow palettes in Monaco and Curacao which contain wonderfully bright colours which remind me of tropical summertime sunsets.  As a natural neutral lover I'm definitely thinking of picking up the Monaco palette as this one contains a good ratio of neutrals and brights.

@Zoe - thanks, I haven't found a pout polish I don't like yet, even when they're wild colours they're still sheer going on.

  9. Not my colours but I'm feelin the Caribbean shadow palette. Those bright colours are nice when you're feelin a lil wild. Plus the yellow will come in handy when I try to create Andrea's latest video look!

  12. I just purchased a bunch of orange and reddish blushes (to be both on trend and because I don't have any true red blushes.) This tangerine looks lovely, I am tan so I'm curious to figure out how to pull off the color. I think you could totally pull it off as a redhead! Can't wait to see.
