Sleek MakeUP Blush By 3 in Pumpkin

Sleek MakeUP blushes are some of the most richly pigmented and unusually coloured cheek products you can pick up on the highstreet, so these sets of three Blush By 3's have been causing quite a stir recently.  There are five compacts to collect: Pumpkin, the one shown here, Lace, Pink Sprint, Flame and Sugar.  Pink Sprint and Flame have really deep maroon/plummy shades but Lace and Sugar are simply gorgeous and will definitely be my next cheek purchases.  For £10 you get three full sizes blushes and although I've seen some in Superdrug, they are normally sold out so your best bet is to try online.

I'm a blush addict so I could easily carry this gorgeous little threesome around in my purse all day as it's a great way to switch up your look.  The compact is durable and the mirror in the lid is huge and great for touch ups.  When I get my hands on Lace it will definitely be a great travel companion.

Pumpkin offers Latern, a shimmering coral-orange, Squash - my favourite - a bright semi matte pink and a pure matte orange - P Pie.  For those of you who missed out on Aruba blush from the Limited Edition Caribbean Collection last year, I can pretty much vouch for these two being the same shade.

  5. I WANT this now. Too bad my country don't stock sleek products. Finding it online is also a hassel, but I need this blush palette! Thanks for sharing :)

  6. Wow, the colors are bright!
I'm always cheating with blush to look more awake at work when I have to wake up at 3 AM, haha. A pity there's no sleek make-up where I live! :/

  7. Beautiful packaging, and I find bright colours easier to wear than I thought they'd be.

    1. Yep definitely, especially if you use something like a duo fibre brush which doesn't pick up too much product x

  9. P Pie and Aruba are definitely the same shade, as are Squash and Flamingo :) I tried it here: http://antibeautybloggerin.blogspot.de/2012/05/blush-sleek-blush-by-3-pumpkin.html

It's in german, but I think the pictures pretty much speak for themselves :)

    1. Ah yes, and I've wanted Flamingo for a while, so that's good! I hope it doesn't confuse people into buying the same blush twice though - that would not be good! x

    2. Why would it confuse people? Do you think I should change something about the post so it's clearer that Flamingoa and Squash are basically the same colour?

    3. Ah sorry hun, I didn't mean your post was confusing - it's the fact that Sleek are selling the exact same blush colours under different names that might confuse those who can't get to a store to check them out in real life. Your post is really useful to help people see that they are the same colours! x

    4. Oh okay ^^ That's exactely what I wrote at some point in my post: It wasn't the best idea to just rename old shades. I mean, yeah, Aruba was limited, but you can still buy it in the shops, at least in germany.
I got the palettes because I was so curious. I already suspected from the first pictures that were released that there are some potential dupes.
Now that I know for sure there is no point for me in keeping Aruba and Flamingo now. I don't want to give up the palette since Lantern is such a pretty shade <3.
It's the same with Pink Sprint. The bright pink shade is exactely the same color as Santorini from the Mediterranean Collection. The other two shades don't have exact dupes, but Pink Parfait is really similar to Fenberry from the Christmas Collection. With the Sugar palette it's the same again: Demerara is practically Flushed and Muscovado is a renamed Sunrise. I didn't have the chance to swatch Lace and Flame yet but I'm quite sure I'll find clear dupes again.

Nevertheless I really like the palettes but it would have been nice if Sleek had been more creative with the shades.

    5. Haha - I knew I should have learnt German at high school! I missed out on Santorini so it's good to know Pink Sprint compares. Thanks x
