Products I'm Using Now: December Edition

I saw this post over at Ellie's Beauty Blog and thought it looked fun to do and I love reading this kind of post!  These are all the beauty products I'm using right now, some are all time favourites but many of them are rubbish and I'm just trying to use them up as I don't like waste!

I've added in a couple of categories like eye cream, body exfoliator, face wash, eye make up remove, perfume, lip balm, etc.

Shampoo: John Freida Root Awakening Strength Infusing shampoo (review coming up - don't like) and Bed Head TIGI Brunette Goddess shampoo (A disappointment - future review)
Conditioner: Bed Head TIGI Brunette Goddess
Styling Products: Tresemme Curl Defining Mousse, Elnette Diamond Hold Hairspray, L'Oreal Elvive Re-Nutrition Nourishing Fluid (Love - future review), CHI Silk Infusion (not impressed with this so far)
Hair Mask: Kerastase Nutritive Masqueintense (Love - future review)

Shower Gel: The PinK Cow Coconut Creme Bath & Shower Gel (Love - future review)
Body Moisturiser: Superdrug Vitamin E All Over Body Cream, Bio Oil
Deodorant: Mithcum Roll-on in Powder Fresh
Fake Tan: St. Moriz Mousse
Exfoliator: Body Shop 'scrubby gloves' - I have a bunch of salt/sugar scrubs but none of them beat the plain old exfoliaing gloves as they all leave a horrid residue which meddles with fake tan!

Cleanser: No7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser (Love - future review)
Face Wash/Soap: L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gel Wash - Refreshing, Clean & Clear Exfoliating daily wash
Exfoliator: Avon Clearskin Invigorating Cleansing Scrub (Love x3 - future review)
Toner: Boots Botanics Rosewater toner (Meh - may review)
Moisturiser: Day - Clinique City Block SPF25, Night - Superdrug Vitamin E Nourishing Night cream
Eye Cream: No7 Protect & Perfect Eye Cream (A disappointment - future review)
Mask: random selection of Montagne Jeunesse

Lip Balm: Elizabeth Arden 8 Hr cream, MAC Naked Honey salve, EOS Lipbalm in Summer Fruits
Spot Treatment: TCP Liquid Antiseptic on a cotton bud - it stings and stinks but it works
Toothpaste: Sensodyne Whitening Iso Active (Love this stuff, always repurchase)

Primer: Avon Magix Face Perfector, i.d bareVitamins skin rev-er upper
Foundation Brush: Use my fingers as it heats the foundation and helps it blend into my skin better
Foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation for work, Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse if I need more coverage or Prescriptives for Mineral
Concealer: MAC Studio Fix/Collection 2000 Lasting Finish
Powder: Benefit Georgia
Blusher: Make Up Store's Lust/Benefit Coralista
Bronzer: MAC MSF in Light Flush
Cheek Contour: Benefit Dallas
Highlighter: Prestige Skin Loving Minerals in Pure Shimmer
Eyeshadow Base: Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin or my concealer does the job too
Eyeshadows: Sleek Storm palette, No17 Statuesque
Liquid Eyeliner: MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
Pencil Eyeliner: Lancome Eye Kohl in Noir
Mascara: Maybelline Lash Stiletto, MUFE Smokey Lash (w/p)
False Lashes: haven't used any since my birthday, but have a Primark pair to try out soon
Lipstick: MAC Viva Glam Cyndi, Maybelline Colour Sensational in Amber Rose
Lipgloss: Lacura - no name, but it's a frosty pale pink, Sleek Pout Polish in Pink Cadillac
Nail Colour: GOSH Metallic Purple under Frou Frou, Nails Inc. Jermyn Street, Primark Glo Baby Glo! in Candy

Escada EDP - for day & night
Victoria's Secret Pink Wish - day
Dior Hypnotic Poison - night

I knew I used a lot of products but I'm still quite shocked at the list!

  1. We have a few products in common! I didn't put everything I'm using on the list or it would have been about 4 pages long! Thanks for the link back xx

  2. This is such an awesome idea! :) You used a lot of products, but it is better than to let them go to waste!

  3. I really need to find a body lotion that my other half likes the smell of! He complains about EVERYTHING and its driving me insane. For example, palmers cocoa butter smells 'like burning'! I'm using my Lush massage bar in Hottie atm as a body lotion which smells too much 'like cake.' WTF.

Also I finally found The Makeup Store in Westfield... have you got anything other than the blush from there?

  4. @missy ellie uk - Yes I left out some bits too, mainly make up.
@Lacey - I always have a few of everything on the go, I can never start a product and use it straight through to finish!
@Robyn - Well the Vitamin E cream I'm using doesn't have much of a smell, and if anything it's a bit masculine...or you could try Bio Oil, but it is a bit greasy if you're in a rush. I only have the blush, I think their stuff is pretty but quite over priced. I do really like the look of the creamy highlighters though. The brush quality isn't up to much. I was hoping to get a pale foundation there, and although they look so in the bottle, they're quite dark.

  5. it's so funny how some products work on some and just don't on others! I HATE john friedas root awakening but i hear so many good things about it.

Be sure to enter my blog giveaway and stay tuned for a new holiday giveaway i will be posting any day now!!

  6. The only product that can tame my hair: Tresemme Curl Defining Mousse... If not I'll be looking like Diana Ross. Not a good look.

  7. You have so many interesting products on there, the ones that you 'love' I may check out as I feel like nothing I use is working for me at the moment.
