Sunday

I love Saturday afternoons!

I want to live in the pink house!

One of my favourite things to do on a Saturday afternoon is go hunting for make up bargains at Portobello Market and grab a goodie from the Hummingbird Bakery.  This weekend, I met up with Angel of highheelsandlipgloss.com and her cute little baby girl Talim and good times were had.

Where the sweet things live...it's always rammed on the weekends and you can't really sit in, so I just grab the goodies and go.

Special Valentine's cupcakes...I hope Kev's got me one for tomorrow!

Pretty churches in the area, the one on the right isn't technically a church anymore, I think it's a clothes boutique/flats now!

What did we get?!

Red velvet cupcakes!

Don't you love my Twilight mug?!  Tea definitely tastes better out of it!

Noms!

MUA in the making!

And now onto the make up bargains I picked up this weekend...

£1

These Bourjois brushes are very good quality, I think they're natural fibres, not sure what though.  £2 each.  I especially like the flat eye shadow shader brush.

This blush/highlight duo was £2 (I only had a £20 so the man said I can pay him next week :)) I cannot get over how pretty the blush is - another to add to my rose gold collection.

These swatches aren't great, but trust me, it's so pretty!

This great neutral palette was only £1!

When I was a kid I hated being dragged around Portobello Market by my mum, but back then it wasn't fashionable at all.  I love it now, especially for the make up bargains! I only wish the guy who sells the MAC and Benefit and other high end stuff would come back!

My mum got this cute Pandora-copy bracelet at the Bingo and I persuaded her to let me have it as an early Valentine's prezzie.  I think it's so cute :)

How was your weekend? Have you been to Portobello Market?

  2. Good times! Next time we can go to Aldi after. I got a pro palette yesterday and de-potted my MAC shadows today. My magnet tape isn't very magnetic though :/ Hope they don't fall out. I'm thinking of getting a palette for my blushes but not sure how I would depot as my straighteners which is what I use as a heat source are quite slim. Do you have chunky straighteners I could use?
